CAIRDE July 9th in Stephens Street Car Park

Our next market will be held in Stephens Street Car Park in the middle of Sligo town and we're very excited to be part of this wonderful family festival. There will be many fab events on over the week so be sure to checkout the events page and get booking those tickets www.cairdefestival.com

We are SUPER excited to have Me Ould China traveling up from Dublin to sell their wares. Here's a little bit of info on them.

We love vintage china! Me Auld China is a new business making beautiful cake stands from vintage and antique plates. This is our first visit to Sligo and we can't wait. We've been in a production frenzy and have lots of new beauties.

There will be hand-made 1-tier, 2-tier, 3-tier and 4-tier stands, along with other cool vintage china. All cake stands made by Me Auld China are one-of-a-kind, ensuring your piece is truly individual and unique. The plates may come pre-loved, or with some crazing, which simply adds to their charm.
It all started with a beautiful 3-tier 1950s cake stand bought for our wedding in 2009. I fell in love with vintage cake stands from the moment I set eyes on it, but discovered they are very hard to get your hands on!! Since then I've been collecting vintage china plates to recreate the authentic feel of the beautiful cake stands from the past. We offer a bespoke "Pimp your Plates" service to give Granny's plates a new lease of life, and our lovely china collection is also available to hire for weddings, tea parties or any occasion at all.

www.meauldchina.com has all the low-down.
